I hope all who celebrate had a wonderful Christmas! Of course, some of us are not done yet - I'll be hosting my in-laws today (the 26th for those of you who are reading this a few days ater it goes out). While Christmas night with my
family is the lasagna that Cestaris have cooked for decades, tonight's "Christmas" will be the British version with Prime Rib and all the trimmings, including the Plum Pudding I mentioned way back in my newsletter about foods to cook ahead to make life simpler during the holidays. Boy am I glad to have that one DONE and soaking in brandy right now.
New Year's for me tends to be simple - staying in with family, and lounging around on New Year's Day - perhaps with a bowl of Italian lentils for
luck.
Best,
Susan
